just got a camera

i just got this camera and was wondering if it is any good
BELL/HOWELL DIRECTOR SERIES SUPER 8 XL,
it is my first 8mm camera,and i can't wait to put it to use.

Hey Bell & Howell is a pretty good brand but:

-does the camera have an option to shoot at 24 frames per second?

-are the battery contacts clean and free of rust or corrosion?

-does the internal light meter work?

-Is there an option to set the "f-stop" or "aperature" manually?

If yes to all, then it should work just fine. Try a roll!
